Dr. Brianyell McDaniel Mims

Dr. Brianyell McDaniel Mims is a postdoctoral scientist who has recently joined the Yilmaz lab after working on Graft vs. Host Disease during her graduate studies and in the first year of her postdoctoral studies. She obtained her PhD in Immunology and Molecular Microbiology from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. As part of our lab her research focuses on understanding the role that oral pathogens play in the onset of cognitive impairments and dementia.
