Dr. Özlem Yilmaz' Laboratory

Dr. Brianyell McDaniel Mims was a postdoctoral scientist who joined the Yilmaz lab after working on Graft vs. Host Disease during her graduate studies and early in postdoctoral studies. She obtained her PhD in Immunology and Molecular Microbiology from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. As part Yilmaz lab her research focused on understanding the role that oral pathogens play in the onset of cognitive impairments and dementia.
